why dont you encourage her and take walks with her- after she has a baby that might be all she can do for a while-
women can gain a lot- 50 lbs- 90 lbs- or 15 lbs- it all depends-
she not gonna feel good about her body after so you have to help out mentally and emotionally -
dont be an @s$ about the whole thing- she just had your child!!

Whoo, the honeymoon sounds like it's over.
Pregnancy is a very difficult time for couples, expecially if they are young and newly married. Weight gain is expected to some point. How much depends on your doctor. Smoking is bad for you period; when you are pregnant, you endanger the baby too. Why would someone do that? Ok, the "B-word". Best definition is : Anything a man doesn't want to hear.

no no no! marriage is a wonderful thing and so is having kids! if you think it will go downhill then you are not ready to get married or have kids. Would you sacrifice a husband and children just so you wont get fat? and who says you will get fat anyway? you can loose the weight after you have kids, plus your boobs get bigger lol. smoking and inactivity can lead to many health problems sooner or later. And YES it is natural for girls to complain at all ages, I do it, my mom does it, guys do it too, its a part of life, complaining for me relieves alot of stress. Cuz when I hold it all in I explode on some innocent person

The reason women sometimes go that way, as with marriage they also didn't bargain for the man who wants the following.
An Employee working 40 hours a week
A Maid
A Whore
A Chef
A Dry Cleaner
A New Mommy for himself
A Child bearer and raiser
A Monday Night Football Fan
It has to be give and take....not just take. Most women complain that they get no help from their spouses, then the spouse wonders why she is tired and "lets herself go"

I have been married for almost 3 years, and I can honestly say yes everything is downhill after marriage. I don't have kids, because I am afraid that would be the 4th part of the wall that is tryign to box me in. This is just my opinion. I love my husband but I truly feel I am losing me as more time passes. I hope I didn't just depress you.

Only if you allow it to be. No that is a myth. True it is hard for a woman to loose the weight she gained while pregnant. it took a long time to gain it, it will take a long time to loose it. When she starts smoking. Some people men or women are just negative people.

Well 1st of all...smoking shouldn't be an object. And really if you love who you marry, (which you should...duh) you should get along and he/she should help you. And complaints can come naturally, its ok tho. When the baby is born, it takes some getting used too, but you'll luv the baby so much you wont even care how annoting he/she is, and it just depends on your natural wieght and stuff to say how much you'll gain...good lcuk! â¥

In your situation, complaining, doesn't stop, it is their personality and ability to handle stress. If they don't exercise they are likely to gain more weight, especially if they eat like crap. Things get worse cuz they might love the kid they are always stressed and complaining about the kid, especially if it is a stay at home mom.

Some women gain weight, some don't...some are bitchy some aren't...same for men...it's an individual thing and depends on their lives and what they are doing with their lives.
Is everything downhill after marriage? Only if the couple allows it to be.
