After watching Eastenders (yes Im sad, lol) Rob left May for Dawn. Does this really happen? Have you met another female and fallen in love with her? And left a woman who has been with you for sometime. Why was the other woman worth it? Could you see yourself treating this new woman the same as the old?

This should make for interesting reading!

I left my husband of 28 years and my partner left his wife of 25 years for each other ,after 2 years of crap with divorces. we had 8 brilliant years of love and laughter that we had not had in our marriages , we then had 2 years of his illness and so much sadness which I nursed him through .....sadly he lost the battle to stay with me last year ...... but best time of my life .... and my children loved him eventually so much that they and my grandchildren are heartbroken

My brother was married to a woman and had two beautiful kids. He met a woman from an island off of Hawaii that was here in the states. She talked him into leaving his wife, and once the divorce was final, they went to Hawaii to live. She came back to the states and left him living with her cousins...I found it funny/ironic....
He is finally happy there, but cannot afford to come back to states, so we don't see him.
Don't know what happened to the woman.

I was married to my first wife late 70s. Eventually had an affair and ended up leaving wife for her, mid 80s. Married the 'other woman' 1991. She left me two years later. Tit for tat, eh?
Now living with new partner, but not married.

its a different situation. i dont know about men loving another person and ditch their wife for someone else. but the eastenders storyline was messed up anyway. may pushed rob to get closer to dawn and he began to have these feelings for her the more he was pushed. i think it was a matter of him liking dawn anyway but because of may doing this to him, he started to go off his wife he tried to stay faithful to his wife but may kept pushing him away.

anyway the storyline of that was may gets rob to bend backwards for dawn until its too late to have an abortion and then when may gets her baby, she'll leave rob and dawn and run off with baby. but it all backfired that may pushed him too much and he left.

in real life this may happen if the wife was a psyco, to let her man be with someone else, but men do leave their wifes for another woman. our jobs as women are not to let that happen and to satisfy our men. hard when they have sex on mind 24/7.

This is a very relative question and answer shall vary from man to man but one thing is very certain that a man shall be a fool if he deserts sweet and loving partner without any reasons. If Iam OK then my partner shall be also OK. One must maintain cool and patience so that question of deserting each other does not arise.

yes it does happen. My husbands dad left his mum when he was 8 yrs old. His dad then went on to divorce his mother, and marry his girlfriend, who are still together and blissfully happy. His mother is still very bitter over it, and my husbant bore the brunt of this over the years
