Well, I've noticed it to. Here in the reptile section you get a lot of people who buy something because it's either "cool" or "cute" and they just HAVE to have it, regardless of whether they know anything about it or not. They don't realize how much money they could save themselves in the long run by buying a care and maintenance book or at least doing a -LOT- of research online before making their purchase, or at the very very VERY least at the same time as purchase. "I just got a nile monitor, why's it keep biting me?" or "My carpet python is mean, what can I do to make it nice?" "Can I keep a ratsnake and a kingsnake in the same cage?" AAAArrrrggghhhhh!!!!!

Oh darn, I got a thumbs down... I wonder who gave it to me... probably someone who knows nothing about their pet.

There are some people who just wanna know. I wouldn't say ALL the questions on here are stupid but there are some on here that wouldn't need to be posted if they used a little common sence. But what comes naturally to some may not come to others. Anything reptile related ceoms like first nature to me... if you ask me anything about birds for example... I'd be lost and I would ba asking the stupid questions. I'm sure we all have stupid questions we've asked before. Hence why there are places like this. Better here than a Myspace group where I've seen people get chewed up and spit out in a second.
