Me 20 years then divorceville

This time around? Married for almost 4 yrs now.
My first lasted for almost 5 and then he started cheating and we separated. We had been together for alittle over 5 when the divorce finally went through.
I didn't think I wanted to remarry but this one's working out MUCH better.
My husband's parents were married for about 25 yrs. and then his dad stepped out on her. He's still living with the new lady and his mom got remarried recently. She seems much happier now.
Sorry it had to happen to you as well.

Me, over 6 years until I hit Divorceville. We'd been together 11 years total. After Divorceville I've been married now just a little over 2 years with no signs in sight about going back to D'ville.

My husband and I were married for 23 years, and most of it was good. He was a good person, I'm a nice person, but we were pretty young and there were problems we couldn't overcome at the time. We were fortunate enough to stay good friends. Years later, when he re-married, it was like we had just extended the family. And when he died, we all mourned the loss of a good man together.

Just got engaged this weekend. I am 22. We will be engaged for at least a year and half. I NEED TO PAY OFF STUDENT LOANS. I also am going to India with my fiance (for 3 mths) for mission work. I hope to be married until I draw the last breathe.

five years on february 2nd. it has been pretty great so far. a few bumps in the road but we're making it.
i can't imagine making it 20 years and then it just doesn't work, you know? most people it seems end it in the first seven. it's one of the reasons i have been so hesitant to have kids....
