Pop just means popular music, sometimes it mainly just consists of synth players and artists singing over, but not all the time. The general impression is that most pop artists dont actually write their own sons or play instruments. Generally pop concerts consist of either lip singing and/or dancing, or dancing and an artist singing over a track, generally that is. However with rock music, most bands or artists actually play their instruments and sing and write their songs, because they want to be different from mainstream pop. Besides theres a feeling on accomplishment if you can actually play and do more. Most bands onstage have a certain energy wich comes from their music, which pop music doesn't, for me anyways. Yea so I like ROCK ^^ ...music

I would say both. I like some rock groups but I also like some pop groups too.
