No. Rabbits aren't some toy you get becuase you think it'd be a cute holiday thing. They live 7 to 10 years, and require a lot of care and attention. You should do a lot of research before you even consider getting a rabbit. And if after you read and think, you decide you want a rabbit, you should adopt one, not buy one. I reccomend the House Rabbit Society's web page as a place to start researching. http://www.rabbit.org

Are you prepared to care for a rabbit? Getting a rabbit for Easter requires the same preparation and planning as getting a pet at any time... perhaps more because many people get Easter Rabbits and then give them up or neglect them (I know that won't be you, though!)
A healthy rabbit will live 8 to 10 years. They require daily food and water, daily hay, daily cage cleaning. Of course!
The also require something most people aren't aware they need- time out of the cage EVERY DAY to play and explore. They need to spend several hours a day outside the cage. They need toys. They need a safe place to run around.
Despite the fact that so many people do it, it's cruel to leave a rabbit in a cage for its entire life. They're surprisingly intelligent and charming animals and their personalities shine if they are outside the cage.
You can train them to do tricks just as you would a dog... I'll post some video links below.
They can be trained to use a litter box, although in my experience they aren't as reliable as most cats.

Only if you're willing to provide for it's care and feeding beyond Easter. This cute and fluffy creature is a living breathing, pooping being. Just like any pet, it has some special needs. They like to nest, so you need either a sheltered outdoor pen or an
indoor enclosure. You'll need Rabbit Bedding, pellets(food) The pen or enclosure will need a daily cleaning. And remember, rabbits are subject to predators, and when you're at the bottom of the food chain, everything's a predator. If you want cute and fluffy, but aren't looking for a commited relationship, buy a stuffed bunny buddy instead.

No. Not unless you have been planning on getting one for a long time. If it is just a whim or an impulse buy, don't do it. Many people don't realize it, but there are a lot of rabbits in animal shelters. Only get a rabbit if you are ready for an 8 to 10+ year commitment. And then make sure you research them so you know what they need before you get one.

Many people buy them for easter thinking that their responsibilities end there. It doesnt...they live about 5 to 10 years and are a long term responsibility. They eat, poop and pee excessively and their cages need to be cleaned very frequently to stop the smell from the ammonia in their pee. They need to be in clean conditions as if not, they may get diseases and suffer..sometimes leading to their deaths. Easter is not a reason to buy a rabbit...buy one because you want a pet and because you have the time and effort to take care of a cute furry friend!

No! Check out your local animal shelter and see all the cute little Easter bunnies that nobody wanted anymore. If you're really serious about it, why don't you adopt one of them? They're usually neutered, and it would probably make you feel good to know that you gave a homeless bunny a place to live.

No! Adopt one from an animal shelter. The poor things need a home. Most pets at a shelter ar trained.
