The carbon emission tax is just another scheme by the Democrats to take money away from people.
Their imagination is endless when it comes to finding ways to tax people.
Just a reminder of why Democrats should never be allowed to hold public office!

That's a very interesting take on the Carbon Emission Tax - and one that is hard to argue against.
I just kind of think of it as an excuse for the rich and beautiful people to continue with their lavish life styles without any consideration for cutting back on some of their excessive lifestyles - and guilt free, too. After all, from this point on, they just rack up a few carbon credits, pay the tax and get on with their lives.
It's kind of like Al Gore with his $1100 a month electric bill telling me I should switch to fluorescent light bulbs.

I don't have a problem with getting charged a carbon emissions tax, Just as long as they send me all the carbon I'm buying. It may go up in price someday.

No. Breathing the air has so far not harmed anyone. Putting CO2 and methane into the air has already contributed to Hurricane Katrina, and according to the IPCC report will kill countless other people around the world unless something is done -- like enacting a carbon emission penalty. (I avoid using the T-word this should be different than a tax. The carbon penalty should go into an Energy Bank that will help people and cities invest in energy efficiency and alternative energy.)

NO.
Any time this tax issue comes up, it amazes me that there is no mention of a reward for sequestering (storing carbon).
Every leaf of grass that you own, every tree you have, all fix carbon and take it from the atmosphere. They (plants) use CO2 as a source for making carbo hydrates and proteins. The removal of carbon from the atmosphere should be rewarded. This sequestering of carbon should earn money for those involved, as it allows the betterment of the economy.

Its right up there with the pet rock and mood ring.
The only difference is, one was clever marketing.... the other is close to a criminal enterprise trying to make money by extortion.
Its a waste of time. Its insanity.
