It will fit the engine, but measure the tailshaft to make sure it is the same length. You may have to swap out the tailshaft and housing, or have a new driveshaft made.

Bed length has nothing to do with your transmission. Swap is no problem. Year model makes a difference.

yes, they are both the same tranny. The short bed just has a shorter drive shaft.

maybe, there is a short tail and long tail transmission... if not you can get a shorter drive shaft

yes........should just be a matter of changing the tail section...or you could order a new drive shaft.
