People keep saying "what goes around comes around". I really doubt that.

I don't think it is true at all. I think that people who get away with many many injustices just continue to do those things. Yes sometimes the consequences of their actions bite them, but not nearly as many times as they have done horrible things.I think it is nice to think that people will always be punished for doing wrong, but they aren't and won't be. I think that it is wishful thinking. For example; people who make the decisions to go to war do NOT pay the consequences of every person they have put in harms way! It would be great if that were the case though wouldn't it. Their decisions if "what goes around comes around" were true would be quite different.

Unfortunately no. I know some people that are just nasty and crooked and they still keep coming out smelling like a rose.

no its true. If you are mean, I am sure something will happen to you. When you give to people, you feel better and that is gift enough dont you think?

I guess. I don't really believe in karmic retribution, but I do think that by doing certain things we set ourselves up for consequences that reflect them.

yes.... karma can bite you in the butt... the rule of three says that if you wrong someone it will come back on you three fold... meaning three time worse... it happens.. you may not realize it but it does
