I think my car may have a loose vacuum hose. Whenever I'm at a stop with my foot on the brake pedal, the car vibrates. Then when I accelerate, it goes away. But sometimes there is no vibration at all. It's on & off. If there is a loose hose, will it correct itself on it's own without adjusting it?

No it won't correct itself! It sounds like you are experiencing a light misfire due to either an ignition fault or a lean condition which can be caused by a vacuum leak as you state. Lean misfires can also be caused by a plugged fuel filter, low fuel pressure, clogged injectors, or even filthy throttle plates. Try to diagnose the problem by running through the secondary ignition outputs to try to determine if the ignitiion system is okay. If it passes the tests, make sure you don't have a misfiring spark plug, replace them if any question. Replacing the fuel and air filters never hurts either. If that doesn't fix your problem, try using some kind of aerosol spray that will burn and spray it around the intake and hose area making sure to spray everything. If the motor smartens up or runs worse when spraying, look into the area for a vacuum leak. If all seems fine still, get a good pressure power flush of the injection system and hopefully that will repair it. Good luck.
