If you download the Pc games online they won't work. You need the disc to run them and you need the activation code in order to play it. Also, if you download it, more than likely it'll be plagued with viruses, spyware, worms etc than can and will damage your PC.

You shouldn't download it online. Buy the games. It'll be a lot funner, and you can download objects from the Sims 2 site to have in your game. And also, have cool expansion packs added!!!!
