Freecycle is a group of people that instead of throwing way things, they try and give it away, they recycle things. I have used it many times. I got an almost brand new queen size bed and a nice wing backed chair...a really nice ginger jar lamp and many other things. It is a free and easy way to get things you might need that other people have that they no longer need. Check out this website http://www.freecycle.org/ That might help you more.

Freecycle is a site where you give thing away or take things for FREE. The purpose is in the name. FREE. You cannot use it to sell things. EVERYTHING posted on this site MUST be given away for free. I myself have used it a few times. And I used it to give away furniture. I gave it away and the people picked it up in less than a week. Their web address is freecycle.org. And you can narrow it down to the area you live in once on the site. Hope I answered your question for you.

Yes, I have used it. Mostly to get rid of things that people can benefit from. It is to "recycle" goods so it doesn't fill up the garbage dump.
