I don't think Grossman has the attributes to ever get a ring, no one can deny that the Bears D got them to the point they were at. I'm not saying that Grossman is not a starter any where in the league but he will never be a consistent enough QB to win the big one.
Starter - yes - definitely somewhere
but never a SB winning QB

Grossman is definitley a good starter. This year, he will be more consistent for us and lead us to a Super Bowl win. That was his first true season in the NFL, and he will do alot better this season. Remember, inconsistency is the mark of a young player, and he did that good in his first full 16 games as a starter plus playoffs. He will be very good someday, maybe not quite as good as Manning or Brady, but he will be one of the elite in the league.

I feel this was one of the worst things Lovie Smith has done this season, keeping Rex Grossman in. He did ok-and sometimes well against bad teams, yet when it came to mediocre teams he was horrible. He should have been benched and Brian Griese should have been put in. He has more experience and overall is a more prototypical qb than rex grossmans 6ft frame. Overall I feel he should not be the starter but most likely will be.

On just the Chicago Bears, there is no better QB than Rex. He has the support of the coach, who kept him in there despite the harsh scrutiny. He also had his bright spots here and there throughtout the year. And hey, he did take them to a Super Bowl, no matter what the outcome was. It also doesn't look like the Bears are pursuing a QB. It seems to me that their formula (which includes Grossman) is working right now, and I don't think they'll edit it just yet.

Definately
Rex is the best quarterback in terms of talent over Griese and Orton. He lead us to a Super Bowl so obviously he can do something. While he is very inconsistent and Griese is far more intelligent, Griese didn't do much better especially that horrid performance against Green Bay to end the regular season. Orton, well....give him time would be the best advice I guess. But Rex will mature over the off-season and will become better and probably more consistent with more coaching and another year in Lovie's and Turner's system.
So yes he will start, not even close.

i dunno he really doesnt have any skill.....they win because of the defense. its like wen grossman has a good day he does extremly good but a bad day jus kills it with like 3 interceptions. he will never win the super bowl. if he wa on the 49ers or something he would b like 3-13. its all his team that does stuff not HIM!
