um i live in california and every thursday we get milk and other things delivered to our house from alta dena milk co.

Stopped using milkman years ago when he tried to charge me twice for same week,now use the supermarket.

local supermarket. Gone are the days when you would have fresh milk before your post would arrive at breakfast. Unfortunately it is supply and demand. Also i know a number of Milkmen and they always used to do the books in pencil. This was beacause they would charge you a few pence extra and then rub out the price with the corrct one and pocket the diff. In a word TESCO

I haven't heard of a milk man for a long time. My Dad used to be one. Sometimes he would let me go along on his route. I have a great bond with my Dad. Believe it or not, some parts of Germany still have a milkman.

Yes we have a milkman for our village. Nearest supermarket is four miles away so easier that way.
