Even though i would agree that the wwe has taken more steps backwards than forwards aftre the death of eddie guerrero i dont think its fair to say noone has stepped up. Edge is one superstar who held shows together when the seemingly "top" superstars were not entertaining. The return of Jeff Hardy is also a great move by the wwe. He is possibly the best high risk competitor in wrestling history. Also, Kennedy,Finley and CM Punk are all making a head way for title success

I guess so, since Eddie Guerrero died, WWE has not been the same. It has crippled WWE like nothing ever has before. Every wrestler stands out in a unique way, but everything that happens on WWE is up to the writers. So you can't say Eddie Guerrero's death has made WWE's quality of storylines & stuff decline. Eddie made WWE very popular during 2003-2005, but it still is good, Eddie's death has actually made more realise what drugs do to wrestlers, so WWE banned drugs & now holds drug tests randomly at any time to make sure that a wrestler doesn't die again in the same type of circumstances
