If you go to the Vatican you can see paintings of Mary openly breastfeeding Jesus, and she didn't have any type of modesty cover. That being said, I think it is definitely ok for a mother to breastfeed her child whenever and where ever she wants.

I realize you're just trying to be a smarta##, but this is a topic of discussion in most churches. It is the primary reason why there aren't more women preachers.

And if you are doing it while you're preaching, you're taking yourself away from God. God won't need to strike you.
