My husband recently got a high profile job in the entertainment business. Now all the women are coming out of the woodwork to call or see him to get jobs, free tickets, etc. He was in charge of hiring models at one point, so now women call or flirt or go out of their way to become the new models. I am a former model, so I am not intimidated by these women, they just get on my nerves because they think they can flirt with or call my husband. All they see is dollar signs when they see him. I get attention on my own, so its not that. I have just noticed how people have changed since he got this great job. People that never spoke to us before are suddenly friendly, and hoochie mamas are coming out of the woodwork. Advice please?

Maintain your dignity, and keep your emotions in check, if you trust your husband l let him know, and make sure it shows that you trust him.
As for the sack chasers, make sure when out with your husband your are always stunning, and hurt there feelings, letting them know they are soooooooooo not on your level, and could never be more than a piece of as* to your man!

I am in the entertainment business too, so I understand how it feels.
I am just an Asian guy, but being in the entertainment business, making a little money and getting a car is enough to attract unnecessary attention from ladies. The only good thing for me is, I do not have a woman with me now who will get upset about these undesirable women.
I don't actually see a major problem since you have upheld your trust in your husband. Such is the reality in the modelling world, every girl just wants a piece of the pie and needless to say, the fame and glamour. Of course, undeniably too much attention will definitely affect the marriage. Every call that comes in takes up quality time that you can spend with your husband. No woman will like that.
Several things I did to avoid such calls. Firstly, I switched my cell to silent mode. I wouldn't know a thing if anyone call but the downside of it, I would have to check for any "legitimate" calls from friends or my crew and return their calls instead.
The other option I took was removing my cell number from my namecard altogether. Should there be any business dealings with the girls, they will have to call my office. If my phone is not picked up, the call gets bounced to my receptionist during office hours. They can leave a message there. Out of office hours, the answering machine does a fantastic job for me.
Sadly, we cannot change the materialistic approach of people around us. Getting into this business, specially when you're a model yourself, you would have been mentally prepared that such a situation will arise. Don't be surprised even when family and relatives start "sucking up" to you for the sake of fame and glamour. Most of the time for freebies and favours.
Your husband in this case would also have to conduct accordingly to his principles of the business. Hiring models only because they are good and not because of the flirting or realistically - sexual gratifications.

It's like you said women aren't attracted to him per say but to what he can give them and flirting is the best way some women know to get what they want. Have you ever been pulled over by a police officer and flirted to get out of a ticket. Same idea.

ignore the new attitudes, they just want what you have.
defend what is yours, you earned it and hopefully your ego inflated husband won't fall for the gold diggers's tricks.
he is a man and he will make you sick with his big head.
good luck

I suggest that you speak to your husband about this, stating that these women are starting to make you feel a bit uncomfortable and frustrated. He may then change his relationship with these women.
