I am a university student in Turkey. Next year 2008 january i will go to ISCTE/ Lisbon by Erasmus program. Through the whole period i stay in Lisbon and in ISCTE they say that there is no dormitories. But i was wondering, if I start living in an apartment on my own, can I able to meet Portugese people and interact multi-culturally more? Can I enjoy Lisbon just like my own country with my friends?

As for accommodation...ask the school's Student Association for help because they have offers of apartments for rent and usually with other students!

Yes, you can meet Portuguese people..
Just be sure to try to talk to people in your program, or go out sometimes, just to meet people..

Don't be too cooked up. The idea is to meet people the first few days/weeks youre there, then you have friends. We're very friendly, not afraid to talk:)
