Ive always hung out with girls just because guys seemed to act differently around me. i kinda have a rep of being a good, smart girl which isnt a bad thing and has helped keep me in check. but the girls that were their friends aren't exactly "good girls" and the boys have no problem with treating them like they deserve but i dont want to be treated badly so should i try to be friends or just stay with my girls and wait till a nice guy comes around? (sorry bout the long details)

You can wait for the nice guy to come along but what do you mean by nice guy? After all, you have to be attracted to this nice guy. That attraction is going to depend on his looks and his manner and the attractive body language he uses, etc. Why is it that you aren't considering yourself in the same way - as a person who needs to offer look, manner and attractive body language to someone? It sounds like you keep the sexes segregated in you mind and hanging out with the girls is where you allow yourself to just 'be yourself'. There's no problem with that except you aren't putting any energy into getting out there and displaying the goods in the proverbial marketplace! You know that you could probably spend a bundle and have a complete makeover and get a guy in a weekend. Well, it's a bundle because you are paying someone else to do all the work and make all the decisions! Do it yourself and spend the energy. Everyone does it, it's part of life, even the guys do it. Get out there and sell yourself! That nice guy who comes along is going to notice you the minute you start doing that.

You can't become just friends with guys, it's not something they want. Guys are friends with girls because they want to be something more than just that with them. Any guy who wants to be your friend, wants to be your boyfriend. Always keep that in the back of your mind.
There is a reason guys act differently around you, because they can't be themselves with you there. Please don't think that they can, they can't you won't like them if they do. No matter what you think can happen, it can't. It's just one of those facts of life that many girls refuse too accept.

Be friends and wait on the nice guy at the same time. If you respect yourself for what you are the right guy will respect you that same way. Don't try and change for the sack of others, you are fine the way you are.

I have as many male friends as I do female, I find both are good friends, male are sometimes better - I understand what you mean but I don't see why you can't be 'friends' with the guys who don't treat the other girls right doesn't mean they can't treat you correctly but go with your cut feeling :)

Try talking to some guys. If you seem like if you don't have a crush on him you can just act like you are friends. (When I said act, I didn't really mean to "act".)

dont worry. its GREAT to befriend girls. i would love it if one of the guys at my school came into my group of friends. if it makes u feel uncomfortable, go ahead and look for some new friends. but dont forget the old friends :)
