Love all the haters....must be a bit jealous of the Wings. They win Cups, Presidents Trophies, sell out all home games (and the opponents home games when they come to town!)....they appear to be the Yankees of hockey. Everyone hates a winner, especially when their chosen team cant win when it matters. How many predicted the demise of the Wings with the salary cap? Wrong again silly little haters! Wings management is the best in the business and will keep a good product on the ice even as other whine about "buying" cups, Dead Things and all their other stupid antidotes because their team cant accomplish year in and year out what the Wings do. Get over it kids....! The west is loaded but the Wings have just as good a shot as anyone, the team is finally taking on Babcocks personality and they will be a grittier bunch this playoff run. Physical teams wont have the same luck against Bertuzzi, Calder, Franzen as they did last years group. As long as Hasek stays healthy we will have to listen to all the crybabies here complain about the Wings. Bring it on you bunch of crybabies!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im hoping the Wings take it all, I just hope they dont have to play San Jose in the coming rounds. The first round this year is differant than the past few because a lot of people are favoring Clagary to take the series. In years past, everyone figured Detroit would plow through their first opponent, but this year is differant and Im betting they are much more prepared. A lot of Calgarys physical guys are going to be forced to have to try and deal with the second line since Bertuzzi, Lang, and Calder are pretty big or tough. That alone should have to help open things up for Pavel, Hank, and Homer. Draper, Maltby, and either Cleary or Frahnzen will be matching up against their top guys and wearing them down. Then I think our 4th line will be much better than their which will probably include Filpula and Sammuelson. I dont even have to talk about our defence. Calgary will be tough though, we'll just have to see how things work out.

I'm right behind you. So are the thousands of fans that help sellout every game they play; home or not. Grit, skill, experience, youth, cups as starting goalies for Hasek and Osgood... what else could anyone ask for?

Wings fan here., but I strongly have my doubts. It just disgusts me, when I see guys getting boarded, run from behind in front of the net, elbowed, slashed and crosschecked in the back, and nobody sticks up for thier teammates. Loo at the brawl, they had with the Avs, a year after the Draper hit, that brought that team together, and made them something nobody thought they were, and that is Champs. I just cant look at a team as a winner, when they dont have the passion enough to have thier teammates backs. If nobody is looking out for you, on the ice, and you know that, why would you put your neck out? Ask Jason Williams, he was never the same after he got knocked cold, with that hit, but now, on the Hawks, with teammates that look out fo rhim, he is the old Jason Williams again, a bit ironic, dont ya think?

Nope, Isles!
But for me, especially not the Red Wings after that 3rd period collapse at the Colessium this year.
