How come I don't get time and a half for Easter on my job, but I get time and a half for Christmas and Thanksgiving?

Is that illegal? Can I sue?

My God, are you people sorry ******* proud of being this rude?
Don't answer that you probably are.

It was a simple question, I wasn't all that serious to begin with, but I didn't expect you people to be really serious about it.

And to the person who said I should go to church. I would love to, but who will then pay my bills? I don't see you voluenteering. How do you know I'm not going to church after my shift is over????

Yes, I am glad to have a job. But what's wrong with the question? We get time and a half on other holidays why not Easter too?

I didn't need the extra dumb a$$ answers.

That is up to the company you work for. It should be written someplace where it tells about all your "paid" holidays. You cannot sue unless it is in writing that you get time and a half for Easter, and they wont give it to you.

the company can pay however they want. there is no law that says they have to pay time/half for holidays
