Anthony--Do you see what you are up against by the response you got from Sane!?!?!?!
Some will resort to kindergarten tricks and putting there thumbs in their ears when the truth becomes hard to hear!!
"....You can't believe Yahoo or CNN or TIME or blah blah blah if FOX doesn't say it they won't even consider it!!!"
The Vatican has been pretty quiet when it comes to an opinion of US led war!?!?!!?
Surprising!
EDIT: Hey Sane here's the same story on FOX NEWS!!!!!

Happy Now!?!?!?!

Believe what you wish, but my reading of religious history points out very clearly to me that the papacy is a political organization with the same goal as any political group. Get and hold as much power as you can.
Also, popes have not, historically, proven they are the oracles of god they claim to be either. Popes have no compunction whatsoever to call for the slaughter of innocents as long as it benefits the church at the power of the papacy.
I place absolutely no more weight on this man's opinion because of the position he holds. He is just a man and he has an opinion.
Sadly, many in the world will give him support whether he is right or not, simply because he is the pope.
Why, if he had said that America should nuke Iraq, people in his church would for the most part say hooray, the pope has spoken so it must be the right thing to do.
Religion has murdered and tortured more innocents in the history of the world than any other single thing. And that includes all religions by the way.
I am certainly not an athiest or an agnostic...but I learned a long time ago that religions can sway opinion based upon the emotional tie one has with the religion. The christian fundamentalist do it also.
It is pretty much brain washing (with few exceptions)...always has been and always will be.

Lord no!! If a republican or any white baby-kisser made that fact, they could be slaughtered via the media. it is between the failings that makes me loopy..the actuality that black people say rubbish like that all the time and it truly is nice yet permit a white man or woman say that and we are the racist pigs of the century. This u . s . will on no account have equality between the races till black individuals supply up playing the race card. they could desire to recover from themselves, permit circulate of the previous and supply up hiding at the back of their race every time something is going incorrect. That my friends, is a typical black..conceal at the back of your race every time you don't get that promoting or somebody says something approximately you in my view. See it primary and an completely unwell of it. All that stuff is sufficient to instruct somebody racist and it desires to end. My own element is to call people on it while they try this for the reason that's barely so unfavourable to absolutely everyone around.

I'm not surprised he feels that way, when you think about the mess the Nancy Pelosi's and Rosie O'Donnell's are making concerning America's public relations affair's, it won't be long before the rest of the worlds religious and political leader's are joining in, I mean can you blame them?? When the above mentioned and the Anna Nicole Smith saga get more air time representing America to the world, shouldn't we be more focused on Iran??. Surely it is time to put a stop clause, to the freedom of speech, when that freedom of speech is just pure and utter hatered being directed towards ones elected members of goverment, and their military during times of war.

Happy Easter , Benedict is more politician than holy father, respectfully disagree with his position.
By the way , most Catholics are Dem's,
God bless those who do follow, and are good catholics but that is not the norm these days.
Don't ever put religion into politics, We are all sinners in the eyes of god and only god himself is the holy father.
Sitting still in the face of evil is also a sin.

as long as the pelosi/reid regime authors carefully constructed flip flops(vis a vis the recent Harry Reid one) this isnt a choice issue as the soldiers will be left abandoned by self serving politicians. its both sad and shameful you agree with this position as the alternative wouldve been to leave saddam in power gassing and killing his own people and ethnicly cleansing the kurds from the face of the earth. he would also be openly defying the united nations and the the process of retakign kuwait. this was isnt and never was about oil..its about al qaeda and survival from jihad. as a former 911 wtc survivor, it sickens and disgusts me that you take the predictable pelosi/reid regime line. its cowardly and without purpose beyond emboldening the enemy...war is never popular or pretty but that doesnt mean it isnt necessary.

The Pope is supposed to be a voice of reason in tough times. And no, I don't agree. Buses in the Vatican City aren't exactly blowing up every day or his message would be alittle different.
