my bestfriend and I have been friend for 17 yrs and it makes no sense to lie to her, she knows me better than my mother knows me. she can tell even if im thinking about lying

Well, that's rare because I'm always being straight forward or honest.
Unless, my friends think that I'm lying,which hurts me,since it happens all the time.

I don't lie to begin with, so the question really doesn't apply. Anyone who would lie to their friends is certainly no friend of mine.
