I was evicted from my apartment 1 year ago. Is there anything I can do to get it off my credit/backround? I can't find a place to rent to me because of it. Please help? I live in Southern California.

Normally negative reports stay on you record for ten yours. If there were unusual circumstances concerning your eviction, and if the credit agencies agree you can have an explaining notation added which might make a little easier for you.

You got evicted in the People's Republic of California? I didn't know that happened.
