I have seen this before but it merits answering each time,
yes you are 100% correct
but believe me that would violate their rights some way
really what pissesss me is seeing someone on assistance that always has enough cash to buy their beer, cigarettes and dope
check this out with a poll---how many people on gov assistance are paying for tv and internet,,these are not essentials
they can buy gas and bait to go fishing 3 times a week, but really needs help with food for the baby
folks life is simple---it is full of choices---you make the choices and you either reap the rewards or you pay the price
the people need to realize the difference between what they need and what they want

What's the matter you are afraid your UA is going to comeback dirty? The reason for UA in the first place is to keep out people that do not belong working on jobs costing companies Billions in mess ups.
FYI: I do feel that drug testing for welfare and public assistance participants should be done but it would cost American tax payers more to do that and what outcome would come of this outside of a lot of over crowded foster homes.

It wouldn't matter, chief. You have to look at history. If the government shut off all welfare benefits, the strain of caring for the poor would just get transferred to the churches, because they have a moral obligation to help the poor. And in that case, instead of lots of American being mad at the government for high taxes, lots of folks that go to church would be mad at the ones who don't and don't help out. Also, charitable organizations would be calling your home # 24/7 asking for donations. Also, you pay the welfare taxes so that you don't have to see the evidence of the poor, and you really don't, I know you think you do. You would see the dead bodies in the big cities after every freeze. You'd also pay a lot more taxes to support an increased police force or else you would see lots of your nice stereo equipment missing from your house.
Historically, this is verified. It's just a question of how are you going to pay to help out the poor, not if.
