I am 28 in a few days, feel so insecure, want to always be in my 20's but want to know how to take care of myself, what kind of food, make up, creams and diet, what kind of meats to eat so that I can always look young and stay healthy.

I eat a lot of junk food and sadly lack the motivation to exercise. I need to know how I can become more ambitious and self conscious of myself so I can be the best of what I can be. I spend a lot and buy creams and make up but what are the core components I need to take care in self maintainence?

Confident, smart, ambitious and tough women who know what they want and how they do it, please advice me.

Please be serious coz this is pretty important for me!!!

Well, being 26 myself I feel what you are saying!
The women that I have noticed to be forever young have smooth skin, long healthy hair, but most important stilll have their 20-something personality.
-A woman I work with is in her fifties and everyone thinks she is in her early thirties, because she has such a spunky, funny, energetic personality.
-My mother who is in her sixties has perfect skin, she ALWAYS put sunscreen on her face and never smoked--not a wrinkle.
It is so hard as we creep up to the dreaded 30ies, but just remember age is just a number! We will make it! Just color the gray's...

Hey girl, you got some really good advice here!! Can I add one more thing?? Aside from fish oils (either fresh fish or fish oil tablets), vitamin A - carrotts, cantaloupe, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, protein - nuts and seeds, lean meats and chicken, milk and milk products, plenty of rest and loads of water............................ you also need enough Vitamin C every day so that you're body can heal and regenerate rapidly, and Vitamin E is very important also - sunflower seeds, wheat germ, nuts, leafy greens, spinach, whole rain cereals and eggs.

You have to try and cut out all the white foods/junk foods. The body reads it as being enemies to our systems and in its efforts to rid our bodies of the toxins we have ingested fails to do its primary function of feeding and maintaining our bodies. Therefore, we waste precious energy just trying to eliminate the junk we put in when we should be simply concentrating on eating as healithly as possible!! I know this all sounds a bit la de da but really and truly, if you can eliminate all sugar, alcohol, junk food and cut right back on dairy (ensuring you're still getting calcium and protein from other sources) you will be astounded at the difference in your mental clarity and energy and in the appearance and texture of your hair, skin and nails!!

PEACE & LIGHT 2 U

Get plenty of sleep (8 hours) , drink 6-8 glasses of water a day, take a multi vitamin tablet to try to balance out the junk food.

Go for a 10 minute walk each day. After a week do 20 mins per day for another week. Then 30 per day after that.

Use a cleanser, toner and moisturiser (with a SPF 15+) evety day.

--- start with all this and don't try to make too many changes at once otherwise you will not be able to keep up with it and you'll end up not doing it at all. Good luck and remember that beauty shines from the inside too, so be yourself!

I need the ambition to diet and exercise too. I just enjoy eating to much. I keep telling myself that life is too short not to enjoy it.
