You can, but they're not easy to keep. Most jellies have stinging tentacles, so aren't the easiest animals to catch, and what do you do when it's time to clean their tank?

Maybe the ones you're seeing are moon jellies. These get to be around 10", have a phosphorescent "glow", are harmless to people (they have a very weak sting), and you can find them in several public aquaria. They don't have very long life spans, though. They also need a special tank so they have the right amount of water movement to suspend them and the plankton they eat. There are places that sell these, and the tanks they need for keeping, but they're very expensive!

There are also freshwater jellyfish, that don't sting at all. I was collecting pond organisms for a school program and caught two by accident. These only live for about a year.

The best way to enjoy any of these kinds is to take pictures of them - the photos will last much longer than the jellyfish themselves.

Try to imitate the back round were you live. that's y there there instead of Alaska or some other place. there carnivores so feed them fish. I'm not so sure about the space in your aquarium because some jelly fish get long from the bottom to top but if you want you can try!

Nope sorry. I don't think you can have a jellyfish as a pet. They sell little sharks and lobsters at some petstores though!!!!
