how do you get the bulb out to replace the headlight in a 99 audi????

1. Raise the hood.

2. Locate the rear of the headlight assembly.

3. There is a black twist lock collar around the bulb. Twist to the left(hopefully you have slender arms)

4. Take the bulb to your local parts store

5. Replace the bulb in reverse order. DO NOT touch the glass surface of the bulb.

I have a 99 Audi A6 and I tried replacing it myself but you can't. So I brought it to an Audi dealer and they said it would cost like $200 to replace it. Man, these cars are way to expensive. But that's what your going to have to do.
