These are both well respected schools. They have somewhat different programs, so you need to look over their catalogs in detail to see exactly what they would require for the course you are thinking of.
I know one kid at RIT and two at WPI and they each like their school and think it is doing a good job. WPI is in Worcester, which is a downside, but it is only 35 miles from Boston and Providence, so it is easy to get to rock concerts, fancy restaurants, etc if you want.
You would be fine at either one of these schools, but you need to check the details to see which one is better for you.

Im not sure but what to look for in a college is an accreidted one...so that if you change the major toa nother school you can. also check out better business beareau to make sure thyere legit:)
