First match with India = India underestimated them. Where Bangladeshi players were dying to prove they are good.
2nd Match with Sri Lanka = Sri Lanka is a strong opponent. Bangladeshis were too busy celebrating their victory against India
3rd aussie (not counting Barmuda) = Well Aussie is the best in 2007 (so far it seems that way) .. The rain also contributed ..
4th with New Zealand = God knows what .. I guess they thought they can take NZ since they won the warm up.. NZ became better since the warm ups..
5th with South Africa = Learned from the mistake.. Had nothing to lose. Played their heart out.. While SF underestimated them like India..
I guess that's pretty much sums it up ..

Well the answer lies straight!
Bangladesh, is trying to prove the whole world wrong by showing splendid performance in such an important event like the WORLD CUP! They have always been the Underdogs no matter which team they play with( ODI teams).
They have reached a stage where they want to do the talking with they PLAY not their MOUTH!
Being an indian, although i am really sad about the fact tht we couldnt make it, but i really appreciate the BANG... for showing such a class act! No matter even if they loose but they surely fight till the end! who would have thought tht S.A wud loose so miserabely!
It's high time Bang... are given a chance to be a part of the test matches!

Because though the Bangladesh Team consistents of talented youngsters, they are most inconsistent in their performance and that is the reason why they have not been able to win many matches and only come up with good performance once in a while.

I fully agree with the analysis of "chocolate_chip_cookie0..." above. She said it all.
It is true that we need a lot of 'exposure' to gain real experience which would ultimately improve our 'consistency' thing.
At present the adrenalin is playing bigger role in framing the mindset of our players than professionalism since the overall average age of players is only 23.
