The Patriot Act should be an issue in the 2008 Presidential race.

I do... I support it- I do not however support the Domestic Security Enhancement Act which is nicknamed the Patriot Act 2

Democrats feel that although the Patriot Act is saving American lives, it treats Terrorists unfairly.
Democrats are concerned about "the Rights of Terrorists".

I don't think there are very many, and there should be fewer repuglicans that support it, strictly a power grab by the executive branch and should have never been allowed to happen. The military act is even worse and the most scary of the two. Yes, our freedom as citizens should be a strong issue in 08, restoring our freedoms should be job 1.

Anybody with nothing to hide, should not have a problem with it. However, the lefts agenda is to empower our enemy and give them aid so I am sure they are in lockstep with their objection...
