The coin is the new presidential coin. It is the first of many and is George Washington. The motto's, date and mint mark are on the edge. Seems at least at the Philadelphia mint one or two hoppers of already struck coins, but without the rim being done got out. There are conflicting statements put out by the mint. First they said there was one hopper and it had 350,000 coins in it. Then they said the most that can fit, is 175,000. At first it was one Hooper and now it maybe is 2 hoppers. They said the coins were shipped to the federal reserve bank in Atlanta, Ga. Now the Denver mint said some got out of there, but they don't have any idea how many. Value started off at $50 and is now up to over $200, or that is what some people are trying to sell them for. I guess the one that is really rare and so far there is one, is the Denver coin with all the info on the rim but the coin itself is blank on both sides. No price has been quoted for this coin, so far. Now you know as much as I do, until I get my coin papers this coming week.
