Yes I do. And so does virtually everyone I know! And I resent the fact that we're called racist when we're not. You'll see lots of messages on here referring to us as the rotten apples and saying that the majority of english people don't feel this way. I've got news for you....... they do! And the number of people feeling like us is increasing by the day, because we're sick of having the piss taken out of us. I am neither left wing nor right wing. I would much rather be referred to as middle wing. Just because I'm not some war hating tree hugging hippy, it doesn't make me a racist. I love my country and my heritage..... and so should the people who come here. If they don't, they should stay where they are!

This is a really silly question. We "English" are in fact a mixture of many different people from all over the world. We have always welcomed people of different cultures and beliefs and our country is more successful, richer, and more interesting for welcoming those people. There is no way "we" can be a minority because we are the result of this process of integration which is continuing.. Of course you get temporary difficulties with ghettos forming when new groups come into the country such as the west Indians moving into Brixton and the Indians into Southall but these situations break down in time as the immigrant populations spread out and become part of the larger community. This process does take time and has it's problems which, in my experience, is usually cause by bigots.
Incidental I remember Southall before it had a big Indian population and I know it very well now. It used to be a dead dump but it is now a busy, lively prosperous place all due to immigrants from the Indian sub-continent many of which are my friends.

Well hello! i'm black, born here, and i understand where you're coming from! does that help any?
yeah i think that if someone doesn't like a country they should fish or cut bait which means if you can't handle it, you don't have to - just leave
yeah there are a lot of ethnic minorities concentrated into certain areas surrounding london. i do wonder how the natives of this country feel when they see the country becoming more mixed, but i think thats just how the world works. people move places, people mix, and so on.
however i personally think that if you're gunna come stay in a country, you need to blend into it's ways. Yeah my parents moved here, but they effing serve this country and they work their asses off. I never really understood why my family bothers to watch the queens speech at Xmas but hey, thats just what we do. And i've learnt to love it. I hate all the yob and gangster culture, its all bullshit and it gives minorities a bad image because when somebody looks at me, despite all i am, all they'll see is a stereotype. It haunts me so much. I love this country there's so much history, and i DO believe the Britishness gets neglected sometimes, we are a bit too modest and sometimes we give too much to the people coming in. they should really cater to us, not the other way round. My parents did and they're just fine.
I dunno what else to say really. I'm not looking for you to agree with me i just think i can see your [and so many other people's] point.
happy easter :)

WE are the monority.Brits are leaving our country in droves.I have nothing against ethnic Groups except they do not accept
our culture yet we are expected to except theres if we do not then we are being racist well im sick of it.Like you if they cannot accept the English way then they should go back to where ever they come from.I have plenty of muslim friends they love England & are proud to british think its the minority in all groups that attract the attention of the media.Which in turn makes us aware of there idiots who are spoiling it for the ones who are proud to be a brit.

English persons are very reserved I do admit that. it incredibly is in simple terms area of the custom to be reserved and keep to your self. I mean in distinctive international places you are able to stand on the bus provide up and somebody will start up a random communique with you, yet right here you in simple terms stand in silence and not make eye touch. As an entire the united kingdom is largely a quiet society. some distance much less outspoken while in comparison with we could say the US, it incredibly is custom extra then something. maximum English human beings relax as quickly as they have had alcohol although, no ask your self there's a project with binge eating lol. it incredibly is in simple terms my opinion on it. x Black British lady attitude. :-)

I feel that way when I am in the City ,luckily its not very often, so I do understand how you feel .Luckily ,I live in a small village community of 1,350 inhabitants and it is an Olde' Worlde' English Village.I teach other cultures English they do try to understand the English way of life.Britain should come out of Iraq now and return to their own English Shores.I think a lot of Iraq people would go home if their own countrymen were not so war like.It is difficult to live their own way over here because we have different Ideals and Beliefs so we will never really understand them or they us.

I'm pretty sure that's how all the natives all over the world felt when the British invaded their lands, oppressed the people or shipped them off as chattel slavery, raped the women or inserted themselves and their customs into their way of life. Ie India, Africa, Japan, China...Well, the sun never set over the British Empire, did it?

am sure no 1 will be pin pointing you IF you decide to be living elsewhere!
i come from a beautiful island called Malta (which happened to be ruled by the british decades ago!!!) i have been living here for the last 5 years as my partner's from the UK & we have a child together! I had no choice as otherwise our son would have been brought up by a single parent!! I like it here...BUT believe me, i'd love it even more if i had to be back home!!!
apart from the fact that you are talking like a racist, i dont see the point you're making...???do you have any problems with the foreigners...??? so you're life's surrounding in staying in England, as you might feel yourself making other people a minority IF you go visit their country??
GROW UP!!!!!

To be honest pal,I'm a Scotsman,I live in London, and I often get called "racist" just because some of these "Londoners" (who often can't be bothered to go to night school once a week to learn English)think that I "must be racist" simply because Jockoland has less blacks/Asians than here.I have lived "doon south" for over 10 years, and inner London has definitely become 3rd world.I mean,10 yrs ago, people from crappy countries just didn't indulge in 3rd world pursuits like selling ciggies on the street, etc. But it's everywhere now.I really feel for your type of people, who get called "racist" just for displaying London pride or English pride!

I am fron north wales and we have a large polish and growing turkish community, i have no problem with this but do feel anybody coming to live and work in our country should follow our ways and traditions.
If they dont want to or dont like these they should move back to their country,
My partner is polish so I have seen both sides of this, some are happy to embrace british life and work hard others want to make britain their own country
