Well how much extra calcium should i be taking ?

I am on the deppo shot and I have had no problems with it... I take calcium suppluments that are 600mg. You take one a day plus your normal calcium intake. This has worked for me and I have been on the shot for over two years. Truth be told almost all birth control methods will require you to need calcium.. You should be taking more anyway. But I think while you are on it 600mg tablets should do you just fine. And yes, it takes about 18 weeks for it to fully be out of you system.

I would get off depo as soon as possible. I was on it for four years and had horrible side affects.
