The question, which never occurred in ones mind before, and one didn't ask before, is the original question. When a baby asks 'mama what is this', it may be the oldest question and asked innumerable times, it is orginal.

If a question was borrowed, then that means there was an original source to borrow from. So, yes, there are original questions.
And, hey-- I'm making up an original question right now (meaning I've never heard anyone ask this before):
What do you see in the patterns of your ceiling?
If you have a smooth surfaced (with no stains or design) ceiling above your head (or no ceiling at all), then, please excuse me.

As far I am concerned, there is NO original question. I know this a broad statement to make but I think it is true. If you were like a tarzon end up among monkeys as a kid and grew up and learnt everything from monkeys instead of humans, may be your questions will be original (for humans and let's assume monkeys don't ask questions).

Look at my questions...they are original..and most of them asked for the first time.
Don't hesitate to answer them...who knows maybe you will get 10 points :)
Good luck and take care!

even if a question has been thought of or asked before,, if the questioner is not aware of it,,,,, then it is original to him/her. and often even questions that have been thought of, dealt with, are given a new spin by the current questioner,,,,
as in
i am sure many have asked questions about reincarnation,,,,,,,, and about if you believe in cross species reincarnation (a person could come back as a animal, a animal as a human)
but how often has it been asked "do you have a fear of having your male dog "fixed" due to not wanting to meet a very angry man in a next life , who accuses you of "cutting his ,,,,, off"?
i have never seen or heard that question,,, in my lifetime,,,,, yet i am sure someone , sometime, somewhere thought of it, and perhaps asked it,,,,,,,
ps: i am not personally sure about the cross-species thing, but i dont want to take a chance

All questions are borrowed in the sense, they stem from our bookish knowledge. In originality there won't be any question to ask.
