Never ever when a man hits a woman it shows what a low life he is.

I was always brought up that you should never hit a woman (let alone your wife) unless you need to do so to protect yourself or another person from serious bodily harm.
However,
If any wife has been hit for anyother reason then I feel that they should pack up and get out because sooner or later it will lead to something worse. If they feel that they need help then they should contact a friend or the local authorities for help.

Never! under normal circumstances, although there may be extreme rare occasions when it could be forgiven, such as self defence and/or if a life is in danger, this works the other way as well (her hitting him).

Only ever in self defence........like for example if she's coming at you with something that could cause you real damage or even cost you your life, then a guy has the right to knock her the fukc out & then get out................
unfortunately there are some women that won't stop until they get totally knocked out.......
jeez! some of these guys are naieve......there are some women that are a darned sight stronger than some guys......just restraining them will not do the trick at all...............

Only in self defense if for example the wife is coming at him with a weapon and he is attempting to disarm her. Apparently 40% of domestic violence each year is women beating their male partners.

i don't think a man should hit a woman or a woman hit a man both are unnecessary espeacially in house holds with children in them

Only for self defence. It is never okay for anyone to hit another person, be it a wife, husband, child anyone.

it's never ok to hit anybody man or woman.circumstances dictate that sometimes you may be so enraged that you will lash out or maybe act in self defense.i think most guys are brought up knowing that it is morrally wrong to hit a member of the opposite sex.i think its a disgusting thing to do and shows a real weakness in a man to hit his wife.
