I'm in germany and spend 2.5 euro on 20 ciggies = 25 cent each or approx 15 pence.
compare that to my wages £72 a day, 8 hour shift or £9 an hour or 15 pence a minute. my smoke brake last 10 minutes.
So i get paid £1.50 for having a smoke break and spend 15 pence on the ciggie. So I'm actually making £1.35 for every ciggie I smoke.
Not only do I make money, I also look very cool and sexualy attractive to the ladies, not to mention all health benifts.
Only joking, smoking is bad don't start!!!

I hate to admit this because it means I'm really old.. REALLY OLD, but back when I smoked for 7 years the cigs cost about 98 cents a pack I think... That was back in 1989 when I quit.
Thank goodness I did quit, I would be so poor now trying to buy them. I feel for you paying that much.

Given it up now since January. Was buying 2 packs(40) a day which cost £5.28 a pack.So 2 X £5.28 a day is £10.56 which in a week was £73.92. I am feeling much better health wise and very much better finance wise.Should have done it sooner. For our American friends this was about $145. a week.
