I was going out with a guy who was on business in Greece. I was answering a saucy email he sent.
At that time I was having a firm repair my laptop and their initials were the same.
My email went to them! In case his wife helped with the business, I wrote with an apology. A sweet woman emailed to say she realised the mistake and deleted my mail. Aren't people lovely?

Haha my experience was slightly worse. I once wrote a text message telling a friend of mine about this girl that I liked and stuff, just giving him updates on what's going on and I criticised her on several things and because my friend's name and her name are similar (the first couple of letters) while searching through the phonebook on my cell I sent it very quickly (because I always type and do things quickly on my cell) and thought I sent it to my friend. Then I felt that something was wrong, I checked the sent messages and I found that I sent it to the girl. I was like "HOLY S**T!!"

I accidently sent an offensive email about a boss to his actual email address at my old job, which was intended to go to a fellow co-worker. Luckily the boss was in meeting and we went into his office and deleted it. It was pretty funny, because as I was deleted it all the way through, my co-worker was on watch. He never found out. I also accidently sent an email to my tax lady which was intended for my friend. The email was pretty much me responding back to an email about a friend which I accidently attached my tax lady's email address to. I never got a response on that one, but after I realized it, I sent an email saying to disregard it. If anything, it was some gossip she got to read about a friend making some bad choices about a guy. One last thing, I know someone that sent a sexual joke on accident to the president of the company. Let's just say, she got fired ha ha

I once sent an email to my male boss at my old job a couple years ago. It was meant for my best friend Katie who had asked for tips on how to "talk dirty" and so i just wrote out things that she could try saying and I sent it, but when i had checked who the email to go to, i checked the box just above my friend's email, which ended up being my boss. At the confirmation screen i noticed it had the wrong name, and so i hurriedly wrote an apology letter, but my boss never looked at me the same after that... creepy. lol

Yeah, at work, I sent an abusive email about a doubles match I'd had at tennis where my partner was crap and it went to a big, boss man in Accounts, doh!

no but i have sent text messages using predictive text before and not checked it, using the wrong word. once my wife thought i was going to get my brother-in law because he had a game of mine! you should always check what you are sending whether it be email or texts

Heh, no, can't say that I have. I have a pretty good track record with email, mostly because I stay the hell away when I'm intoxicated.

Well not me personally, but I believe some may have sent me an email while rather drunk. It was pretty funny to read, though confusing for him!
