It's normal for a woman to get cramps before or during her time of the month Katie. I get really bad ones sometimes. What I find is the best way to relieve them is to place a hot water bottle on my stomach (where the cramp is). It always works and very quickly aswell. I don't know what age you are, but am presuming, 12-13. You should speak to your mam or someone close to you who you can confide in and trust.
Evening Primrose oil is a natural, safe supplement which women have taken for years to relieve period pains. There are also other tablets specially for women and their period pains and other menstrual (period) issues. You should ask your mam about this.
For now though honey, I suggest a warm bath, and a hot water bottle when you're at home. Some light exercise is also good for relief, even though it's probably the last thing you feel like doing, a brisk walk or some light exercise will really help.
Good luck with it hun xoxo

I don't know if you are getting the stomach cramps because of your period or because of something that didn't set right with your stomach but I would suggest trying something like 7 Up or Sprite or even tea made from fresh ginger (you can find this in a natural health food store if there is none in your local supermarket) to try and help settle your stomach a bit. Then get in touch with your dr to have this evaluated to see what could be causing the problem.

Look at your diet more thoroughly and get yourself checked by your gp..

It could be anything from what you are eating to hormones. Id keep a diary of what food u eat and when these cramps start- that will give the doc more of an idea where to look..

It sounds like you have a fart stuck sideways. LOL!

Sorry.

Ginger snaps work wonders for a bunch of stomach aliments. You can find them at the store just ask around or order them on line. They are commonly used for sea sickness but I bet it will work for cramps too.

You can try drinking some hot tea if you don't like medication. If you would like to take medication try something like Aleve or Motrin, when you go to purchase these drugs, speak to the pharmacist and ask him if they are right for you, you can give them a small medical history for them to decide. If these don't help, I recommend seeing your doctor.

Well, you either need a gastroenterologist or a shrink. I needed both, years and years ago.
