I've been playing basketball for about a month now after not playing for some time. Everything was fine until a few days ago, I woke up after playing basketball and my knee had fluid on it. I played again this week and it flared up again. Do I have to have it drained or is there something else I can do?

Thanks for your help :)

i would recommend to start with simple ace or elastic wraps around the time of your games. simple over the counter antiinflammatory drugs like ibuprofen or aleve can be helpful too. also see a doctor if your symptoms are persisting or worsening or if new symptoms develope, good luck
