I have recently begun having sex with my boyfriend. He isn't very long but is slightly wide. Because I wish not to become pregnant we usually stop intercourse before he climaxes. Invariably he comes back in a few minutes wanting more ( I love my man). The problem is that when we begin again I am extremely tender and have pain if he trys to enter me. I do not have this pain in the beginning only if we try again. I have researched various conditions and vaginismus seems to be the closet to what I am experiencing, only it doesn't happen on the first try. Has anyone else experienced this and are there any suggestions as to what we can do about this problem.
Thanks.

Vaginismus is a disorder that prevents any type of penetration. You do not have this. Contact your doctor.

The only way to know for sure if it is vaginismus or a more broader range of pain in that area: vulvodynia is to get in touch with your dr to evaluate what the problem could be.

I have vulvodynia and yes it does cause me a great deal of pain at times.

This could possibly be becasue the outside of your vagina is too dry. Try using a lubricant.
