What do you think? I personally believe it would be better to know something about everything, but that's me :=)

Depends on the purpose of the information.

I would want to know a lot about something if I were employed in that field, but would also want to know at least something about everything so that I could have a decent conversation with people.

I used to know a lady who said once that she didn't WANT to know about repairing things because she didn't want the responsibility of doing that. She had a good point, selfish as it was.

Seemed silly to me at the time, and an attitude like that, I think, creates more problems than solutions for people around her... and made me feel less generous towards her for being given the responsibility when all it took was the willingness to use a pair of scissors in a rather mundane way.

It's fun to know something about a lot of things but it's more profitable to know everything about something.

If nothing else, if you know everything about something, you can become an expert witness during jury trails. I knew a guy who was an expert witness on drug tests and he was in court at least three days a week. He was paid very, very well for his knowledge, and had a lot of time to learn something about everything.

I think it's better to know everything about something. We need experts in the world to depend on for the really tough questions.

Something about everything. When you limit yourself to knowledge in just one or two specific subjects, your limiting yourself to the world around you.
