Why do dogs feel a natural inclination to involve themselves into human society while other pets remain aloof to human affairs?

Dogs are social and pack animals. They live in communities and so do people. I love dogs, because they want to part of the family and when you are the 'alpha' dog they worship the ground that you walk on. I love dogs!!

They are so socialable and love belonging to a pack. I think they identify with human leadership. I'm glad they do like to join our society. I love them so much. Nothing on earth has more loyalty than a dog.

Dogs are just needy creatures. They're pack animals, and when they don't have their canine family, the humans they live with are their packs.

Most other domesticated animals are loners, so they couldn't care less about those silly people wanting to baby them...
