are you are taking it propley and not missing any? if you are, you need to go to the doctor and get a different perscription, explain this to your doctor and he will change it for you obviously the one you have been perscribed is not the one that is right for you,

It depends on how you are taking the birth control pill. If it's the entire pack (meaning including the last week of pills which is the placebo pills) then yes you would be having a period.

If you are taking it to try and stop a period then what you are describing is breakthrough bleeding which can act a lot like a period.

I would definitely get in touch with your dr to let them know what's going on and see what they think.

Is this your first pill pack? It will take some time to get regulated to the pill packs.

Have you missed any? Taken them at different times of the day? Have you been under a lot of stress?

this is because with the pills, (even if you take it correctly), your homone levels are all over the place. some people's bodies are more sensitive to this than others. if this is a chronic problem, you will want to switch to the patch or ring (i highly reccomend the ring) because your hormone level is constant throughout the day, you will not experience breakthrough bleeding. in most cases, anyway.
