You are ok as long as you aren't losing TONS of blood and there is no burning, discomfort or odor. (Foul odor...we all know we don't smell like roses that week! haha!)
That goo we lose has sat there for 28 days. Some clots are normal. My doc says as long as they are no bigger than a golf ball (THAT SOUNDS HUGE!)
After a miscarriage of twins early this year, I had some literally the size of GRAPEFRUITS and was alright.
In any sense... YOU know your body better than anyone. If it hurts, stinks, or otherwise just scares you, call your gyno.

Those blood clots are normal. They are actually not really blood clots even though they look like they are (and I refer to them as blood clots as well, it's easier to identify them that way), they are actually the lining of the uterus that's shedding and mixing with the blood. It looks really gross, but it's just fine. And in case you didn't know, when you're on your period, you only actually bleed about 2-3 tablespoons of blood. The rest of it is tissue.
As long as your not in pain (not including the cramps) you should be fine. If you're really worried about it, talk to your doctor. She can answer all of your questions. That's what she's trained for.

Blood clots are normal as long as they aren't larger than a quarter (as in one the size of a quarter). If they are bigger than that there could be something wrong and you should see a doctor immediately.

Buuut.
If it looks like a gob of bllod, if actually isn't because blood doesn't congeal that much.. especially not inside you.
It's just the lining.. you dig?

Yes, it's normal as far as I know. I get them too, and after asking a doctor, she told me it was normal.
