if you work hard for those straight a's you will be more likely to have the drive to work hard in all things, including higher educations and jobs. someone with straight a's is not as likely to get distracted by outside things, and that person knows how to strive in competitive environments.

The bottom line is that to get straight A's one must use a particular set of skills. Study Habits, short term fact storage, test taking, and many others. The sad reality is that not all of the jobs require those same skill sets. So if a student has not refined the skills needed to be good at what they have selected to do, their GPA will not predict how they will do.

This is why some of those I know who have been real successes in life have come from all levels of education. From 4.0 GPA Masters down to High School GEDs. It is the ability to excel in the skill sets needed in all areas of life not just school that makes the big difference.

I'm assuming that spelling is no longer being graded, but the use of spellcheck would aid in success (guarantee...not gurantee). Anyway... There is NO guarantee of success. No number of degrees earned nor GPA points scored will get you anywhere if you're deficient in other (more important) areas. When people hate you, you will get no where. No one will hire you if you lack brown-nosing qualities/pro-social skills. No one will hire you if you have no network of references to call upon. No one will hire you if your work history sucks because people just don't like you.

it does make u success easily when it comes to a job interview, bank loans or study in university but basically it really benefit you in term of your value but straight A's doesn't make u success in life if u're not attempt to go further in studies or work with the result,it been a waste don't u think?most important is straight A's does allowed you to get job but doesn't guaranteed u to success in job,its all on you

It doesn't. Nothing guarantees success in life. Success is living life; one day at a time.

It doesn't. Because in this life- there are NO guarantees. Intellect & good grades certainly HELP- but there are way too many subjective variables- & uncertainties, to assure one of absolute success.
