I like that the Democrats make it so easy for me to collect an income when I am not feeling like working. Nothing like a paid vacation.

i replaced right into a Republican, yet am now a Democrat. i'm vote casting for Obama. As for admiring a social gathering, all i can say is that I well-loved the GOP of my youngsters. Eisenhower, Goldwater, Ford, Dirkson -- those human beings were between the finest both political social gathering could furnish. I see very few like them now, for this reason my political change. There are some persons contained in the favored GOP whom i appreciate. i appreciate Orin Hatch for no longer letting political beliefs stand contained in the way of humanity. he's between the most maximum conservative individuals of the Senate, and an intensive chum of Ted Kennedy. it truly is type. Of all the Republican contenders for the presidency this 365 days, McCain has been my well known. he's a real warfare hero who sacrificed a great deal for his u . s .. he's not afraid to take stands that positioned him at odds such as his own social gathering. i imagine his time has surpassed, yet when he had survived the 2000 Bush/Rove smear gadget, he could have lengthy gone on to be elected and could be between the finest presidents in our heritage. he will be an impressive opponent this 365 days, and the Republicans did the right element to appoint him.

I am a Libertarian, and the one good thing I can say about the Green Party is that they are dedicated and enthusiastic. Who are these Republicans and Democrats I keep hearing about?

I am neither, but I can still see the good in both parties. Democrats look out for the underdog and will fight to extend right to all. Republicans try to keep our taxes low and believe that everyone is entitled to a quality education (vouchers). I know there are more, but these are the first to come to mind.

I'm a Republican...I admire the way the Democrats can get up in front of people and say the things they say and act like they are actually doing something for their country instead of just trying to get their party further.

As a democrat, I can appreciate the republicans attempts to maintain their "base". Even tho' I believe that it creates divisions and misunderstandings when the Gay Old Party attempts to disassociate from particular groups of people.
I find it hilarious that they have based their party on "conservative" points that the hard-working middle class can agree with, but has members who ultimately are worse than those who proclaim their open affiliation to a group such as the gay community.
I.E. The page scandal and especially Newt Gingrich going after Bill Clinton for sex, and then turning out that he had a whore on the side during the republican witch-hunt...

The Dem party stands for many, many great things,
I feel the Dem party has to "clean house. " Get rid of Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Howard Dean, etc and get some people in who would be respected.

I appreciate that one of the traditional cornerstone Republican values is the reduction of governmental meddling in private affairs.
That being said, many modern Republicans don't even hold true to their own beliefs, as evidenced by increased surveillance via the Patriot Act, and attempting to alter the Constitution with the marriage amendment.

I am neither lib or con... I decide who I vote for by what they stand for... I want a good honest person that really cares about this country. lately that is getting harder and harder to find.
I like Hillary and I like Rudy.. best I can do. Come election day, I guess I will decide what is the lesser of the two evils.. but I will vote and then pray like hell that they don't or can't turn into another George Bush... God help us all if that happens!

I'm a republican.
Dems seem to have their hearts in the right places. Perhaps a bit too optimistic about the state of humanity, but they do keep on trying.
