Yea I live in Florida and when hurricanes was supposed to come I would be scared and try to stay up but I couldn't because of the rain

It does as long as it's a light rain or a steady rain, but not a hard rain.

i've got have been given an app on my iPod called 'white noise' that i like to hearken to. It has crickets chirping, rain falling, city highway noises, the works. :) It helps me fall asleep, too. i'm uncertain why. i assume calming, continuous noises (White noise XD) help save a stable ecosystem for as quickly as we fall asleep, and we grow to be much less alert much less complicated whilst unexpected disruptions are not as truthfully heard if we've a coverup, like crickets or rainfall. -shrug- that's my opinion. i'm no anatomy genius, so i'm uncertain precisely why that's what that's. (:

YEAH. I get really sleepy when it's raining outside. I sleep a lot more hours non-stop, but I don't know why.

It depends. If you're stuck in the middle of nowhere, like in the movie Cast Away with Tom Hanks... rain isn't the greatest thing in the world. However, water is like a remedy: it helps you calm down. So, rain can help you. Thats why they put fountains in WA DC, USA, because so many people cry there when they see the graves and the water just makes them somewhat calmer. I never trully understood why.

Yes, like a baby, unless we have thunder, and most of the time it sounds like it is right on top of our house,and it makes the house shake.
