,Read, "Masters of The far East" by Bird T. Spalding
It is a set of 6 small books.
My Favorite is "The Book of Urantia." By the Urantia Foundation
Both book or set will cost you about $50.00
One other one that just came to mind is
"We the Arcturians" by Dr. Norma J Milanovich
This book costs $15.00
This is some heavy reading and not crummy by any means.

So much depends on what you like! Mysteries? Biographies? Historical novels? Do you want to lose your self in a book or learn?
There are so many options. I have found going to a book store a valuable experience. Or, find a book club. I joined one recently and I have read 4 of the most fascinating books ever.

Try something really interesting and exciting with a little bit of everything in it. Try Zelazney's Amber Chronicles. There are 9 books written by Zelazney before his untimely death. Recently someone has started writing new ones. Stick to the real ones. They are incredible! Pax - C.

I totally agree with you. More students would read if they weren't subjected to boring "classics" constantly. If you like fast paced action, try The Collectibles by David Balducci. Also, James Patterson wrotes some good ones too.
