If Alienware makes laptops, and I'm pretty sure they do, then that would be ideal.

Make sure you get a laptop with a dedicated graphics chip installed. Not an intergrated graphics chip that uses system memory, these type are nearly junk when it comes to gaming. Any type of Intel graphics chip is almost pure junk. Look for ATI or Nvidia graphics, but make sure it is a dedicated chip with its own memory and it does not suck up system memory. The one I am using now has the ATI Radeon Xpress 200M, it's not very good because it has very limited dedicated memory and it uses 256MB of system memory, but it is still better than a Intel graphics chip.

The easiest and cheapest way to do it is by looking into the Recycle or Penny savers which are available also in the Internet. If you are looking into something no so expensive you may want to rent a room with a couple of roommates.I did that many years ago and was able to save some money.Good Luck!!!!

Here's all the top gamer laptops. I recommened using ascendtech.us and adding progs yourself. You can get the best pcs from there. I got a gamers special for $278. It was 1.8ghz, 512mb ram 80hd 128mb gforce video card. It didn't come w/ OS though. Had to put that on myself.

Get a desktop and get the same thing for a 3rd of the price. Other than that: Alienware.
